Updated: 2018-07-10

Huangxing town will look into becoming an all-for-one tourism destination, as rural tourism has proved an effective means of bringing prosperity to rural areas, said Yu Zhigang, secretary of the Party committee of Huangxing town, Changsha county.

Huangxing, positioning itself as a garden city, will take full advantage of local tourism resources, such as history, folk customs and well-equipped facilities, to drive economic development through tourism.

To achieve this goal, Huangxing town will step up efforts to protect its natural environment, push forward the development of its exhibition and convention industry, and improve infrastructure, said Yu.

The project will benefit Huangxing town by providing tourists with local leisure agriculture, sightseeing opportunities, and educational facilities.

The local government will accelerate construction of the Liuyang River Scenic Belt and the Zhashangang Wetland Park without negatively affecting the local ecosystem.

In addition, authorities will continue to improve traffic conditions, accelerate tourism projects, and promote the town as a tourist attraction.
